| Hello, | |||
My name is Linda Davis and I am the owner of Webdecal.com and this Affiliate Program. I do not claim to be an expert on Internet Marketing, we already have too many of them on the web, but I have been running a successful ebusiness since May, 1999 and have spent (too) many hours online researching and marketing.
I have compiled this list of what I consider to be the most useful and consistent sites that I have found and used. This article specializes in writing Newsletters, Ezines or Sales Letter Email Marketing. I hope you find this information useful. It has certainly helped me. |

Newsletters Tips: |
All the top Internet marketing 'experts' say the same thing…Write your own newsletter or ezine and start a mailing list. If you have expertise in a subject that applies to your website then you should be writing a newsletter and sharing what you know with others.
If you don't have the time, motivation or discipline to research and write a newsletter then you can offer FREE articles, ebooks or reports written by someone else. Just make sure whatever you offer, even though it is free, has value to your visitors or they will lose their interest. Quickly! Your main objective is to build a list of 'opt-in' email addresses of people who have shown an interest in your product or service by visiting your site and submitting their email address. Again, the experts say, on average, it takes 7 contacts with a customer before they make a purchase. Once you have a database of email addresses, you can start an organized advertising campaign, emailing them on a scheduled basis. The best way to stay organized and more importantly, scheduled, is by using autoresponders to send your messages. This is how it works; On your website you offer a free ebook or a free report for which your visitor must enter their name and email address.
Following are more helpful tips and resources to help you get started writing your own advertising emails, newsletters or ezines. |

Once you have created your own newsletter, you will want to advertise your Webdecal affiliate link as well as the other affiliate programs to which you belong. A URL redirect is a great tool to use when you want to hide long affiliate links. If you have your own domain name, all you have to do is set up a web page to redirect visitors to your affiliate link, instead of using your webdecal affiliate URL: http://www.webdecal.com/at.cgi/xxxxxx You can set up a new URL that looks like: http://YourDomainName.com/whateveryouwant · Now it is easier to set-up than you might think. Your Own Domain Name: |
If you are serious about making money on the Internet, you have to have your own domain name. Website addresses that are long, or that advertise your Free Web Space instead of your company are unprofessional. If your business website address starts with geocities or aol or any other ISP name chance are people will click you off before they even start to investigate your site. It is easier and cheaper than you think to acquire and set up your own domain name. Once you find a name that suits you, you can set up a FREE redirection service that will go directly to your current website (so you can keep your free web space) but the address will show up as your domain name. This is called URL redirection with cloaking. It's available FREE of charge. Find our more at http://www.webdecal.com/go/register | |||
